Vacancy: CONSERVATION MANAGER
Area: Sabi Sands - KNP
Industry: Tourism / Hospitality
Requirements:
     Minimum of Master’s degree in applied ecology, environmental science, conservation biology, or a related field. 
    (PhD will be an advantage).
     Minimum of 8+ years of experience in conservation management, 
     Specific experience in veld management, ecological restoration, research programs and wildlife management in
     a ‘Big 5’ conservation environment.
     Strong knowledge of South African ecosystems and biodiversity.
    Solid grasp of statutory requirements in terms of protected area management
     Excellent communication in English, (written and verbal), Afrikaans and Shangaan would be advantageous
     Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Proficiency in MS Office, GIS and other relevant software such as Earth Ranger.
     Drone and camera trap experience
    Up-to-date knowledge of environmental legislation and policies in South Africa.
    Must have a valid driver’s license and experience of 4x4 driving 
    Good physical fitness
    Sound financial and budget management skills, and strong administration skills.
Salary Package: Market-related and depending on candidate’s qualifications and experience
