Instructor Bio:

Hi, my name is Manjit Kaur. I’m a Cloud Operations Engineer with experience in managing cloud systems, especially using AWS. In my last job at Ellucian, I worked with AWS services like EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, and S3 to help run large, busy software systems. I spent a lot of time making things work faster and better by using tools like Jenkins, Python, Terraform, and Git Ops. This helped our team deploy new changes 40% faster. I built and maintained systems that allowed us to test and release code smoothly and safely. I also fixed problems with ECS containers, improved performance, and solved issues during deployment. I used tools like Datadog to monitor systems, find problems quickly, and keep everything running without issues. Another big part of my job was reducing manual work by improving our automation. This cut down the time we spent on manual tasks by 30%. I worked closely with developers to improve how we build and release software and made sure customer environments were set up correctly and ran well. I enjoy working on automation, solving problems, and making sure systems are reliable and easy to manage. I'm excited to bring my skills to a new team and help keep their systems running smoothly. I was responsible for handling programming labs, including Linux, DBMS ,C, C++, and Java. I assisted students in resolving issues they encountered while working on programming assignments. Additionally, I provided guidance and support for their final term projects."
