Job Description:

As an AV \ VC Equipment Tech, you will provide AV \ VC equipment checks in conference rooms across our client’s site.

A motivated self-starter who is friendly and engaging with customers and co-workers alike to promote a company that provides a multitude of services providing a unique service delivery structure across a range of product sets in the IT and AV environment.

The successful Level 1 Tech candidate will work in a quick-paced environment and demonstrate a willingness to accept and drive innovation and process improvements.

This is what you’ll do:

• AV / VC equipment checks
  • Raise tickets via the customer system for all issues with equipment.
  • Complete all forms and upload them to the customers’ record repository.
• Maintain all logs and reporting documentation.
• Adhere to business guidelines, company policies and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a professional manner
• Must be able to work with manual and powered material handling equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned.
   

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Minimum of 1-year customer service-related experience required
• Prior experience in handling IT equipment and peripherals is an advantage but attitude, application and desire to get the job done and succeed are more important.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Working knowledge using Microsoft Windows is required.
• Keyboarding and Windows environment PC skills.
• Ability to effectively work individually or within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
• Ability to meet employer's attendance policy.
• Willingness to cross-train for other job functions.
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work Monday – Friday and be available for overtime and weekends as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• New hires must meet all WISA employment qualifications when hiring, including successfully passing background checks.
