Job Description

Advertising Sales Executive

We are hiring an Advertising Sales Executive in Lagos. The Advertising Sales Representative’s responsibilities include identifying clients’ needs, researching competitors’ advertising services, products, and prices, and providing cost estimates of the services required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of advertising space, media solutions and social media content on the Techfynder website and Techfynder base.
  • Develop new relationships with clients and maintain existing relationships.
  • Chase prospective leads and follow up on enquiries.
  • Identify new sales opportunities.
  • Proven experience working as an Advertising Sales Representative.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Sound knowledge of marketing principles and techniques.
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills.
  • Effective communication skills.

Required Experience

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of previous relevant sales experience.
  • Previous experience working in a B2B SaaS Advertising capacity.
  • Should be comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Should have demonstrated experience working well independently and taking initiative.
  • Familiar with working towards agreed KPIs.
  • Demonstrated excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with potential clients.
  • Research potential clients’ products or services for their target customers.
  • Assisting the marketing team in the preparation of media and promotional plans.
  • Meet with potential clients to present proposals.
  • Attend sales meetings, and trade shows as required.
  • Prepare sample advertisements for clients.
  • Sound knowledge of marketing principles and techniques.
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
