Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with over 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Android app development and a passion for building innovative mobile applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to create scalable, high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications in line with product and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to create a seamless user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Debug and resolve issues, improving the application performance and responsiveness.
• Conduct unit testing and support the QA team in the testing process.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure we are applying the most effective techniques.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin.
  • Proficiency with Android SDK and Android Studio.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Understanding of UI/UX standards and a focus on user-centric design.
  • Knowledge of third-party libraries and APIs (such as Dagger, Retrofit, Glide, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Firebase, Google Play Console, and publishing procedures.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jetpack components (e.g., Navigation, Room, ViewModel, LiveData).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines or RxJava.
• Experience in app performance optimization and knowledge of memory management techniques.
