Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to
achieve revenue and market share objectives within the assigned area.
2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with all
Influencers in the value chain to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and
ensure customer satisfaction.
3. Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and
competitor activities. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our products/services to
effectively communicate their value proposition.
4. Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities
by actively prospecting and generating leads within the architecture and interior design
community.
5. Sales Presentations: Conduct engaging and informative product presentations,
demonstrations, and training sessions for architects, interior designers, and other key
stakeholders.
6. Sale Closure: Meet contractors and retailers to close the loop once specification has
been done by the architect / IDs in coordination with the Retail / Channel Team.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing,
product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless communication and
alignment of goals.
8. Sales Reporting: Input the daily visits done into the company-provided Sales-Force-
Automation App (SFA) and analyse regular reports coming from SFA on sales
performance. Share with seniors – information picked up on market trends and
competitor activities. Utilise data to analyse results and adjust strategies accordingly.
9. Travel: Be willing to travel within the designated area to meet clients, attend industry
events, and build a strong regional presence. Should preferably have a 2/4 wheeler to
effectively cover the designated territory.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in Influencer Management, specifically within the Building material
Industry.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office Suit, CRM / SFA Systems – and ability to put daily
visit & activity data into these software systems or Apps
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Results-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Repordng:
Typically, to the Branch Sales Manager / Locadon Sales Manager. S/he may also have to
directly or indirectly report to the Regional Sales Manager / Zonal Sales Manager / Nadonal
Sales Manager depending on Business requirements or as per the Management decision.
Candidate Profile:
§ Minimum of 2-3 or more years of relevant experience in Influencer Management in
the Building Material Industry. People with more experience will also be considered if
found suitable for higher positions.
§ Self-driven & willing to work hard
§ Patient
§ Familiarity with the local/regional market dynamics and customer base would be
preferred
§ Good communication skills. Should know the local language and preferably Hindi &/or
English
§ Good understanding of Influencers and the way to manage them
§ Very good interpersonal skills
§ Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs
§ Willing to travel locally regularly and upcountry if required
§ Preferably should have a two-wheeler (along with a two-wheeler licence) for local
travel
§ Should own a Smartphone & be reasonably tech-savvy with MS Office Suite or
equivalent & CRM / SFA tools

o Ability to explain complex products and concepts in an easy-to-understand
manner
o Should be confident in the local language of the trade & also know either Hindi
&/or English
3. Analy6cal & Problem-Solving Skills:
o Ability to analyse basic sales data and market trends
o Proacdve in resolving issues and idendfying opportunides for improvement
4. Rela6onship Management:
o Strong interpersonal skills for managing reladonships with the Retail / Channel
Team and the trade
5. Product Knowledge:
o Knowledge of building materials, pardcularly laminates, is preferred
o Ability to stay updated with industry trends, innovadons, and compeddve
products
6. Tech Knowledge:
o Preferably proficient in SFA & CRM sojware and Microsoj Office tools (Excel,
Word, PowerPoint) for sales tracking and repordng.
