What we need

We are looking for an experienced 

Business Process Owner 

who will be a key member of the team and will be responsible for finance systems integration and implementation

. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Execute internal controls, you will be in control framework management.
• Manage audit deliverables and liaison with the auditors for various internal and external audits.
• Liaison with the client’s finance team and internal Ops and IT teams.
• Project management and coordination with all stakeholders.

Your Profile

Key skills/ knowledge:  

• Deep understanding of functions like Reporting (statutory and regulatory), Transact to Record, Plan to Perform, Acquire to Retire, Quote to Cash, Source to Pay and Treasury within insurance industry and working knowledge on at least two of the functions specified.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements – IFRS & IRISH GAAP.
• Understanding of other F&A activities like Bank Reconciliation, Investment Reconciliation, Daily Financial Controls, etc.
• Knowledge on IFRS 17 reporting standard.
• Team player and ability to work in complex process.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and investigative skills are required.
• Ability to meet deadlines and drive results.
• Excellent communication/ interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused, enthusiastic, and flexible.
• Good process management skill with a strong focus and understanding of risks and controls.

Experience required:  

• CA/CPA qualification would be preferred. ACCA/CA/MBA with good accounting knowledge.
• Strong proven experience in finance and accounting, particularly insurance.
• Experience in various accounting and consolidation principles and policies.
•  Thorough understanding and working experience of finalisation of accounts.

Good to have:

• Experience of managing accounting for pension schemes/ insurance will be added advantage.
