Cloud Automation Engineer

Are you interested in an exciting job Opportunity for a leading IT company? Our client is looking for an experienced Cloud Automation Engineer to join their growing team. The role will be based in Galway for a 6 months contract. You will be an important member of a dynamic Azure focused cloud computing team continuously improving our offerings with a “automate everything” mindset. Skills required: • Development experience utilizing one or more of the following: o Cloud application development solutions (e.g. PaaS, Serverless, API Management) o Container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes) o Continuous integration technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure for DevOps) o Automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) o Web application server technologies. • Knowledge of one or more cloud infrastructure solutions including IaaS, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, Containers and Infra as a code technologies • Development experience using integrated development environments targeting public clouds (i.e. Azure, AWS) • Prior work experience in Cloud Automation, DevOps or Full Stack Engineer role • Familiar with Agile Scrum software development practices • Experience and understanding of large scale application portfolios in an enterprise scale environments • Recognized for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Microsoft Azure Certification desired • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to multi-task and flex when priorities change. • An ability to influence through teamwork and collaboration. • A passion to provide world class customer service. • Ability to provide on call support • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or related technical field.
