The Collaboration Architect will lead and implement the design, development and delivery of email & content management solutions & contribute to domain architecture, roadmap, standards and best practices for critical organization wide systems.
 

Our ideal colleague will have a deep understanding of email & messaging infrastructure with ability to build hybrid environment or migrating user date from on-premise infrastructure to Office 365. The ideal candidate will be able to help design, monitor and maintain a world-class email. The position is responsible for the design, selection, implementation, integration, management, user experience and retirement of Collaboration technology. The position works closely with the IT team and business partners to deliver consistently excellent user experiences and technology experiences for our Global organization. Be self-directed, highly motivated, and comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced environment. Flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success. Candidates should also have strong organizational, business analysis and client relationship skills to handle a variety of activities and complexities.
 

 
 

Expectations
 

·       The Collaboration Architect will play a key role in implementing and upgrading email, collaboration and messaging solutions
 

·       Responsible for the design implementation and support of email & content management provision globally; ensuring adherence to Global standards across the company and ensuring local Business needs are considered as part of the Global strategy
 

  • Design, engineer, configure, implement, modify, maintain email, Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams.
     
  • Lead the efforts required to solve for, architect, implement and operate new email & content management solutions and technologies into the enterprise, and ensure collaborative environment is highly available and functions as a mission critical service.
     
  • Drive process improvement, deliver efficiency, and provide specifications of existing email & content management architecture to which solutions are defined, managed, and delivered.
     
  • Assist with the planning, securing, and forecasting of Enterprise email & content management initiatives across the enterprise.
     
  • Define and create a well-organized quality email & content management system architecture that will promote reliability and ease of maintenance.
     
  • Research, analyze, recommend and implement new software, hardware, tools, systems and processes to provide state-of-the-art collaboration experience.
     
  • Identify opportunities for expanding the use, feature and functionalities of the existing system
     
  • Stay updated with the industry trends, new product and services, security issues, and any other information related to email & content management solutions
     
  • Design and implement monitoring and reporting that exposes quality metrics necessary to measure the performance and effectiveness of Enterprise UC services, and to support decisions for continuous improvements.
     
  • Maintain and update skillset as it relates to what are coming trends in email & content management technologies and methods of delivering a future-focused collaborative environment.
     
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical artefacts pertaining to the design, standards, implementation, assessment, and analysis of Enterprise email & content management services.
     

·       Participate in business process evaluation/improvement activities, requirements gathering, system analysis, system design, software / hardware applicability studies and system implementation and executes projects based on these activities.
 

·       Provide input into the technology plans for the organization, and ensure that plans for their assigned applications integrate effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure.
 

·       Assist or lead in the definition of systems solutions to functional problems, conforming to established system architecture standards and practices.
 

·       Coordinate communications with internal and external teams.
 

·       Providing stakeholders with accurate reporting.

Key Skills Required
 

 
 

·       5+ years leading email & content management technology initiatives in global enterprises
 

  • An IT Architect with a deep understanding of unified communications/messaging infrastructure with ability to build hybrid environment or migrating user date from on-premise infrastructure to Office 365.
     
  • Aware about security approaches for information protection in cloud environment to satisfy customer security requirements.
     
  • Able to effectively undertake challenges and have experience in leading a project in a complex environment.
     
  • Able to present business cases, strategies and solutions and have an excellent communication skill.
     
  • Deep understanding of processes and steps required for migrating user data and configuration settings from one infrastructure to another
     
  • Strong understanding of User Data Managing, Client Assess, Federation Trusts, Mail flow and key security aspects.
     
  • Expertise of major O365 application (e.g. Exchange online, SharePoint online, Teams) with a proven track-record of designing complex, large O365 transformational programmes, including hybrid configuration and Identity and Access management.
     

·       Excellent client facing experience
 

·       Strong knowledge of MS teams and Channel deployment
 

·       Good knowledge of SharePoint on-line and OneDrive for Business
 

·       Strong understanding of Multi-Cloud Services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), and Security and Compliance.
 

·       Architectural understanding on how Third Party Archive & Journaling Email Data (Enterprise Vault, Mimecast)
 

·       Experience in routing protocols, addressing, services virtualization, and integration/collaboration strategies for enterprise architectures
 

·       A team player with the ability to communicate across departments
 

  • Strong IT process background related to large scale, global, multi-functional implementation of processes and supporting tools.
     
  • In depth technical knowledge and experience with systems and network architecture
     
  • Ability to define problems, analyse relevant data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
     
  • Excellent listening and presentation skills required; ability to adapt communication to style of the audience
     
  • Ability to conduct technology assessments and market analysis.
     
  • Strong experience gathering technical and business customer requirements.
     

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders, including senior executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
 

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities.
     
  • Take responsibility and demonstrate ownership of projects, tasks, and issues.
     

·       Adept at using negotiation, facilitation, and presentation techniques to build consensus, and skilled at communicating difficult and sensitive information tactfully.
 

·       Experience in working International multi-site company environments.

  • Ability to work under pressure – patient, tolerant and resilient.
     
  • Results orientated.
     

·       Awareness of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF) preferred.

·       Develop effective architecture solutions that not only satisfy immediate project requirements but also deliver a coherent, reusable, reliable and phased architecture to help the business grow and change while aligning to strategic vision.
 

·       Deliver technical security configuration architecture expertise in implementing cross-organizational information sharing.
 

·       Develop solutions and recommendations for issues caused by process challenges, emerging threats and technology changes.
 

  • Contribute to documentation in the Knowledge Base, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions, and job aids.
