DPDK VPP Developer

Job Description

DPDK VPP Developer Level 2 and 3 in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Gurgaon.

An opportunity to work on the latest packet processing technologies like Intel's DPDK and VPP. It provides exposure to high-performance carrier-grade system architectures based on network processors and their evolution to 5G systems.  

• Design & development of fast path/data plane/User plane Software for next-generation 5G systems
• Performance profiling and tuning software on different architectures
• Work on Intel's DPDK and Cisco's Vector packet processing (VPP)

Skills Needed:

• Should have very good C programming skills
• Should have prior experience in working fast path/control plane application
• Knowledge of Intel DPDK, is a plus
• Good understanding of Operating System concepts and x86 architecture
• Should have good data structure/algorithm skills
• Should have a fair understanding of networking domain and TCP/IP protocols
• Good team player and curiosity to learn
• Knowledge of any network packet processing system, 4G/5G Network is highly recommended

L3:   

The candidates shall the following:

Have 5 to 12years of industry experience

Have experience with LTE/5G L3 protocols - minimum 3 years of experience

Have working experience on at least one of the protocols

• 4G RAN and/or 5G RAN
• LTE/5G RRC -- eNB/gNB or UE side
• RRM - gNB/eNB
• XnAP/F1AP/X2AP
• NGAP/S1C
• Have excellent design and coding skills using C++
• Have excellent analytical and debug skills
• Excellent team player

Level 2 Candidate:  

Have 8 to 12 years of industry experience

Have experience with LTE/5G L2 protocols - a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Have working experience on at least one of the protocols

• 4G RAN and/or 5G RAN
• LTE/5G RLC/MAC/PDCP -- eNB/gNB or UE side
• Scheduler experience on eNB/gNB
• SDAP
• Have excellent design and coding skills using C or C++
• Have excellent analytical and debug skills
• Excellent team player
