Data Engineer

About The Job 
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining and maintaining the infrastructure and pipelines necessary to support our AI and machine learning initiatives. This role requires a combination of strong data engineering skills, understanding of AI/ML workflows, and the ability to collaborate with data scientists and other cross-functional teams. 
 

Roles And Responsibilities 
 

·         Design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient data architectures. 

·         Collaborate with data scientists to understand data requirements for model training and evaluation. 

·         Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data pipeline. 

·         Manage and optimize databases, both relational and NoSQL, for performance and scalability. 

·         Implement and maintain data warehousing solutions. 

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirement and to integrate data from various sources. 

·         Implement automation for routine tasks to streamline data workflows. 

·         Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement. 
 

Basic Qualifications 
 

·         Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

·         Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a Data Engineer or similar role. 

·         Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. 

·         Hands-on experience with SQL database design. 

·         Experience with data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts. 
 

Preferred Skills 
 

·         Familiarity with big data technologies. 

·         Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 

·         Understanding of data security and compliance requirements. 

·         Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
