Job Description

A delivery associate's job description typically includes:

• Delivering packages: Pick up packages from sellers and deliver them to customers
• Planning routes: Plan routes to avoid traffic and deliver on time
• Handling packages: Handle packages with care
• Customer service: Answer customer questions and provide updates on delivery status
• Record keeping: Maintain records of deliveries, including dates, times, and reasons for late deliveries
• Vehicle maintenance: Keep the delivery vehicle in good working condition
• Safety: Follow safety protocols, such as wearing seat belts and driving within speed limits 

Other responsibilities may include: Sorting and organizing packages, Tracking packages and documentation, Collecting and processing payments, Ensuring the package contains the correct items, and Reading organizational policies and instructions. 

Delivery associates should be energetic, punctual, courteous, and have a pleasant personality. They should also be willing to work outdoors for long hours, sometimes in adverse conditions. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with packaging deliveries and check against the order form. - Must be sure product is properly secured prior to delivery. - Load vehicle with product as required. - Carry out inspections to verify the integrity of security of the product during delivery.
