Position Title- Deputy Manager – SAP ABAP
Division/ Department- IT
This Role Reports to- Senior Manager/General Manager
This Role Supervises- Manager and below
Educational Qualification: Graduation ( Preferably MBA)
Work Experience Required (In yrs.)- 6 years +
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- Responsible for SAP ABAP delivery for entire SAP landscape comprising
- SAP S/4 HANA, CRM, SOLMAN, BIW (ABAP) .
- Must be able to handle all deliveries independently meeting all the quality compliances set across the development standards
Functional / Technical Expertise (Please indicate Product /Functional Portfolio):
- SAP ABAP on S/4 HANA (RICEF, Workflows,
- Interfaces, Webservices)
- Re-engineering reports using CDS/AMDP as
- deemed fit
- Understanding of IDOC’s and RFC based
- integrations
- CRM ABAP and BI ABAP
Other Relevant Direct Skills- Preferable: FIORI, UI5, EDI, HANA on ABAP
Roles & Responsibilities (Indicate Key Deliverables for this position)
- Development /Maintenance of RICEF reports, workflows, and customized applications in ABAP/FIORI using OOPS and HANA 7.4 & 7.5 syntax
- Enhancements in existing reports/ t-codes, User exit/enhancements
- Development and maintenance of BAPIs/RFCs/BADI.
- Debugging/Bug fixing/Runtime error fixing and handle all production issues with no business impact
- OSS ticket creation/follow-up and solution implementation as advised by SAP
- Active involvement in designing any third-party application/interface requiring SAP integration
- Timely communication with business and Blue Star IT core team
- Maintaining SAP applications/third-party application using Fiori (full-stack including ODATA services, UI/UX using SAP WebIDE, ABAP)
- Handle interfaces and transferring data from/to SAP and external systems using API services or RFC's, Proxy.
- Re-engineering reports using CDS/AMDP as deemed fit.
- Performance tuning/optimization using SAT tool
- Provide solution(s), translate it to technical efforts and estimate the work for the same and create/update technical specification document
