Responsible for installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of diesel generators, power distribution systems, and lighting towers.

Key Responsibilities
• Electrical installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair generators and related equipment.
• Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical control systems, alternators, panels and associated components.
• Monitor performance (voltage, frequency, load balance).
• Perform routine preventive maintenance (oil change, filter replacement, battery check).
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in generators and control panels
• Maintain Automatic Transfer Switch systems
• Provide technical and informative feedback to the supervisor regarding findings and faults or situations as they occur
• Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics
• Complete Job Cards, service reports, and inspection checklist accurately and timeously
• Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly

Qualifications
• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Qualified Electrician (Trade Test Certificate)
