Frameworks Specialist

Job Description

The Frameworks Specialist is responsible for performing the various structural assessments for the task force during incident operations. The Frameworks Specialist reports directly to the Technical Team Manager. Monitoring assigned structure for condition changes while rescue and recovery operations are proceeding.
 

Responsibilities:

• The Frameworks Specialist supports efforts with engineering to develop processes and procedures.
• The Frameworks Specialist mentors individuals through the build and test processes to support production efforts.
• The Frameworks Specialist understands plans, executes building and testing of flight hardware along with troubleshooting activities.
• Completes parts lists, checks drawings, generates and processes engineering/document change requests, notices and orders.
• Assists as required during inspection verification or modification/maintenance procedures.
• Performs basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
• Performs inspections, make adjustments and repairs, replaces components, and corrects any malfunctions or deficiencies
• Fabricates parts/wire harness and installs per engineering drawings and instructions. .

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before clients or employees of the organization.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts probability and statistical inference/fundamentals of plane/solid geometry/trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• Knowledge of reading, interpreting drawings, diagrams, and manuals, wire coding systems and avionics test equipment.
• Relevant work experience may substitute for required education.
• Ability to collaborate as a leader or work autonomously and as a team member to either share or provide ideas.
• Knowledge of manuals necessary to perform job.
