Job Description

Working within Group IT based at Rocester providing IT support to JCB Staff globally.   Scheduling Hardware Refresh Replacements and IT Support.

Monday – Thursday 08:30am – 17:00pm,  Friday – 8:30am – 16:00pm

         

Core Job Requirements:

Location:  live within an hour of commute to JCB HQ’s Rocester, Uttoxeter ST14 5JP

  • To schedule hardware refresh deployments:
  • Contacting End User and arranging time/date of install
  • Determine Software Requirements
  • Determine any special requirements
  • Updating Old/New Asset Details

JCB Leavers:

  • Identifying Leavers Equipment 
  • Notifying Leavers Manager of assets to be returned 
  • Manage return of assets 

Review active leased equipment not being actively reported:

  • Is it in Stock?
  • Has it already been returned to leasing vendor?
  • Does the recorded owner/division still have it?

Core Skills

  • Excel data acquisition, manipulation, and reporting.
  • User engagement (Teams, Phone, Email)
  • Scheduling, Planning and Calendar booking
  • Support the rollout of the M365 Email migration project
  • Service desk experience is required but training will be provided
  • SCCM and troubleshooting steps to cover any gaps
  • Monitor the rollout of client applications and troubleshoot/resolve any issues 
  • Provide first point of contact telephone support for email migration issues 
  • Provide general 1st/2nd line service desk support
  • Punctual able to arrive on time, complete tasks and meet obligations at or by a designated time

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexible to support the team’s objectives
  • Understanding of IT Systems and Processes
  • Complete account administration tasks including user creation, deletion, password resets and permission changes on multiple systems
  • Assisting in the collection of returns (Scanning, sorting, reporting)
  • Talking staff through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone;
