ICT Programme Manager – Senior
 

Contract: 6 months extendable to 1 year
Location: The Client currently has a number of locations throughout Ireland and it is expected that resource will be based at offices in one of these locations;

·         Dublin

·         Kells, Co, Meath

·         Sligo  

·         Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim  

·         Cork  

·         Kilkenny 

·         Galway 

·         Limerick 

·         Tullamore, Co. Offaly

·         Drogheda, Co. Louth

·         Kerry
 

Candidates should not be presented for consideration unless they are willing to work from one of the Client’s Locations. The Client MAY adopt a Hybrid working model with an expectation that the Resource would be available to attend Meetings /Workshops at client Location as required.

Experience level required:

This is a Senior position. It is a mandatory requirement, that the Resource proposed has the equivalent of  7+ years of extensive professional experience in their specialised field.

Qualification/s:

It is a mandatory requirement, that the Resource proposed hold a Third-level qualification in an IT related discipline
Full Driving license / transport / Business Insurance : Mandatory
 

Role Specifications and requirements
Key Deliverables:
 

The following non-exhaustive list of Key Deliverables are applicable to this Role.

·         Investigate and conduct a “quick look” review of existing Digital Asset information, including asset databases, application registers, configuration information and other technology-related sources. Identify potential opportunities for high-value wins.

·         Develop and present practical and actionable recommendations to deliver clear service benefits. These recommendations would span such areas as processes, procedures, artefact development and tools.

·         Develop a detailed implementation plan for the above recommendations.

·         Deliver a pilot solution and roadmap.

·         Produce detailed weekly reports of progress. Prepare and deliver reports and presentations for senior management as required.
 

Key Experience/Competencies/Skillsets:

The following Experience/Competencies/Skillsets are applicable to this Role.

·         Senior Management experience in running a large ICT function.

·         Excellent understanding of the broad range of ICT activities and functions in a large organisation, including Infrastructure, Desktop Estate Management, Project and Programme management, through to Customer Services and IT Service Management processes.

·         Demonstrated ability to map technology capabilities to high level business goals.

·         Ability to engage successfully with senior stakeholders.

·         Excellent current knowledge of the current broader technology environment, including cloud technologies and wider cybersecurity developments.

·         Ability to deliver on set goals.

·         Senior-level program and project management experience.

·         Experience in delivering organisational change.

·         Experience of working with large ICT service vendors

·         Demonstrated ability to work and deliver independently, with proven track record of self-starting, initiative and delivery at senior
