Define short term and long term HR strategy for the organization and as well as manage key HR strategic initiatives.
Work very closely with the Business Heads to drive organization culture.
Drive HR Strategies, Systems, Policies, Processes and Best practices that align with our company's vision, values, and business objectives
Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals managing talent, recruitment, HR operations, payroll etc.
Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry standards
Build a leadership pipeline at all levels to ensure seamless and rapid growth.
Develop workforce plans and programs that align with the company's overall strategic objectives.
Assess the workforce's current capabilities and forecast talent needs..
Create and implement effective employee engagement and retention strategies, fostering a positive and vibrant work culture
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices and regulatory changes including employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
Monitor HR metrics, analyze data, and provide reports to senior management, enabling data-driven decision-making

 

As the Head of Human Resources, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Geminis HR function. Your primary objective will be to support the growth and development of our employees while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. You will play a critical role in aligning our HR strategies with the company's goals and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position reports directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HR strategies:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute HR strategies that support the company's goals and values. Provide guidance and expertise on areas such as talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, compensation, and benefits.

Recruitment and onboarding:

  • Lead the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the hiring of qualified candidates who align with our company culture. Develop effective onboarding programs to facilitate new employees' integration and ensure a smooth transition.

Employee relations and engagement:

  • Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations practices. Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and promote open communication. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and satisfaction.

Performance management:

  • Design and implement performance management programs that align individual and team goals with the company's objectives. Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance feedback, goal setting, and development plans.

Learning and development:

  • Identify training and development needs and collaborate with managers to design and deliver appropriate programs. Support employees' career growth by implementing effective learning initiatives, mentorship programs, and talent development strategies.

Compensation and benefits:

  • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness, fairness, and compliance with legal requirements. Conduct market research and benchmarking to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

HR policies and compliance:

  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks. Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. Stay informed about changes in employment legislation and update policies and practices accordingly.

HR analytics and reporting:

  • Implement HR analytics tools to gather and analyse key HR metrics. Prepare regular reports and present findings to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR leader or HR manager, preferably in a software or technology company.
  • Compensation and benefits strategizing and implementing expertise.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment, talent management, performance management, and employee engagement strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR programs and initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and other HR-related systems
  • Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
