Description:
Initial contract is for 3 months
Primary Role
● Implement Corporate Email Replacement
○ Understand postfix
○ Ansible and/or Kubernetes
● Work with Security to onboard DMARC vendor, possibly supplementing relay service
with SPF+DKIM+DMARC support
● Work with legacy support teams to migrate services currently using Exchange/Ironports onto new Comhar/eir mail relay service
● Daily review of indications of mail delivery success
○ Our own mail relay logs
○ Mailbox provider postmaster tools: Google, Microsoft, Yahoo(?), Apple(?)
○ DMARC vendor dashboards
○ Blacklist summary sites (i.e. mxtoolbox)
● Refine/tweak/adapt solution to minimize failures/blockages
Secondary Role
Basic Comhar project work (create systems in Foreman, provision in ansible, possibly tweaking/updating ansible to suit needs of project)
Skills Required
● Experience administering/configuring RHEL or CentOS systems
● Some shell (bash) or interpreted language scripting experience (perl, python)
Nice-to-have
● Experience configuring postfix
● Experience with maintaining email for a corporation
● Experience building/maintaining services in Kubernetes
● Experience working with vendors
● Experience with medium-term project coordination/management
● Knowledge of SPF and DMARC
● Knowledge of Prometheus, experience with building Grafana dashboards
● Experience writing ansible scripts
● Experience with the Google and Microsoft postmaster tools
