Jira Administration Job Description

• Very good knowledge of SDLC and experience working with Agile teams.
• Troubleshoot and fix errors common to JIRA Applications and Application servers
• Gather requirements for business processes and determine ways to optimize/improve JIRA setup and workflows, identify where functionality can/cannot meet user requests.
• Experience with creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex JIRA workflows, Boards configurations, screen schemes, permission schemes, Issue security schemes and notification schemes.
• Experience with implementing and training on JIRA and JIRA Agile best practices, custom dashboards, and custom reports.
• Experience with migrating projects smoothly from other JIRA instances.
• Experience with researching, evaluating, installing, and managing JIRA add– ons.
• Regression tests all functionality when upgrading JIRA and plug-ins.
• Experience integrating JIRA with other Atlassian applications and other party applications too.
• Manage system access across groups to ensure security compliance and maintain best practices.
• Knowledge on Script runner plug-in along with development activities to meet the user level requirements.
• Understanding of JIRA APIs and webhooks.
• Support JIRA and Confluence users.
• Generate documentation on workflows and processes implemented in JIRA to support runbooks.
• Create JIRA projects, Confluence Spaces, Space custom templates, User queries, and reports as required.
