The Opportunity:
This role will present an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to learn within an expanding and dynamic department which is focused on building relationships and providing award winning customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferable to have 5 passes (minimum Grade D) in Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate subjects, including Maths and English, or equivalent or superseding qualification. Fetac level 5.
Essential Skills & Experience:
· Good experience in the individual life and pensions business, preferably in customer servicing processes
· Strong customer focus with an understanding of customer needs
· Flexible attitude towards change - adapt to fast changing customer and internal requirements and ensuring delivery
· Ability to multi-task and assess priorities
· Intermediate level competency in office software tools (word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail)
· Good at analytical skills and comfortable with basic calculations
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Team player with the ability to monitor own work for accuracy and quality
· Effective interpersonal skills and relationship management skills
Key Accountabilities:
· Administering a portfolio of Life and Pensions business focussing on customer servicing processes, which requires an in-depth knowledge of induvial Life and Pensions products
· Acquiring an understanding of, and adhering to the various Service Level Agreements in place for the distribution teams and products
· Ability to work under pressure
· Answering all customer queries in a timely and efficient manner
· Adhering to all regulatory obligations and ensuring zero operations losses to the client
· Participate in individual and team development activities/training to maximise both individual and team performance
