Job Description

We are seeking a Media Sales Executive to focus on the sale of Channeling Bees products and services by gaining a thorough understanding of the client's business and the industry in which they compete. The Media Sales Executive will also develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior-level decision-makers and other key buyers within the named accounts and partners.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of media products and services offered by Channelling Bees.
  • Use our defined techniques to approach new clients, and construct sales pitches and presentations required to secure a sale.
  • Identify potential opportunities by cold calling, usage of existing client relationships, frequently promoting our products on social media, and other necessary ways for new lead generation, conversion into the pipeline, and a sale.
  • Emphasize the features and benefits of our products to highlight how they increase the customer brand reach.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in pre-sales, development teams, and product management to advise customers on technical matters and recommend appropriate advertising plans and configurations.
  • Negotiate prices and terms, then prepare commercial agreements.
  • Travel to personally meet clients (outside of normal business hours when necessary), attend tradeshows, and participate in industry events or training.
  • Maintain an organized client database that tracks every step in the process from cold calling to convert the lead into a sale.
  • The development, management, and articulation of market propositions, and achievement of defined revenue and sales targets.
  • Aim to follow up and maintain excellent relationships with potential clients throughout the process and achieve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

 

  • Recently acquired a Master's degree or have a Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or any related field and 3+ years of experience in media sales activities.
  • Understanding of the complete customer lifecycle, including various sales processes after customer generation.
  • You are a creative mind, think outside the box and contribute your ideas convincingly.
  • Social competence and strong communication skills, especially for building sustainable customer relationships.
  • Motivated to learn and grow with the organization.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: eager to advance through clearly defined learning and earning paths, or resourceful enough to create and invent your own.
  • You are characterized by the ability to address our customers directly and specifically to their needs, as well as the willingness and perseverance to lead even complex issues to sales success.
  • Confident, detail-oriented, and multi-tasker.
  • Can be adaptable to start-up environment and flexible to travel for a client meeting.
