Title: Middleware Engineer (TIBCO EMS)
Location: Hyderabad
Type of position: Permanent
Work Schedule: This is a 24×7 support team. Ideal candidate would be willing to work night and weekend shifts.
Job Summary:
As a Middleware Engineer, the candidate is primarily responsible for providing 24×7 support in a complex and high availability external customer facing websites. Candidate is expected to have middleware admin and Engineering experience
Responsibilities:

Role and Responsibilities:
Alert monitoring, perform health checks, trouble-shooting issues, perform escalation, managing bridge calls, perform root cause analysis and document knowledge articles
Support web sites (application, middleware & infrastructure tiers) both within the organization and external at the hosting provider
Applies patching, day-to-day middleware administration, application run-time support, upgrades, installation of new systems, vulnerability review and remediation, and supporting process definition and implementation, server/JVM profiling, tuning and troubleshooting
Participate in risk and security related activities.
Qualifications:
5+ years overall IT experience with at least 3 years’ experience in MW admin -Tibco EMS
Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ is a plus
Experience in supporting external customer facing websites
Experience in monitoring, incident handing, troubleshooting, patching, day-to-day middleware administration, application run-time support, upgrades, installation of new systems, vulnerability review and remediation, and supporting process definition and implementation, server/JVM profiling, tuning and troubleshooting
Experience in any of the automation tools like Ansible, Python, Terraform, Jenkins, Dynatrace etc
Experience with tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
Understanding of SDLC, ITIL concepts and Agile methodology
Understanding of Platform Observability
Understanding of Encryption, Key management, Digital Certificates
Good understanding of IT infrastructure concepts – Networking ,O/S, Databases
Well-developed analytical troubleshooting and problem resolution skills, including the ability to analyze complex situations
Excellent communication skills, inter-personal skills including strong facilitation and coordination skills
High level of initiative and ownership mentality
Key Skills:
Atleast 3 years’ experience in middleware administration and Engineering, Tibco EMS
Experience in any of the automation tools likeTIBCO EMS Python, Terraform, Jenkins, Dynatrace etc
Nice to have:
Experience in any of these technologies: Public Cloud (esp AWS), Kubernetes, OpenShift and AWS EKS
Experience in core JAVA
Release experience highly desired
Qualifications:
