PHP Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a PHP Developer who is dedicated to the craft, writes code that they are proud of and can hit the ground running. A PHP Developer writes beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways. You will be a part of a full-stack creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.

Responsibilities:
 

• Coding to technical specifications.
• Produce detailed specifications
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Follow industry best practices
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
• Giving technical feedback on application architecture.
• Building and maintaining applications.
• Designing and developing relational database systems.
• Working with a team or even leading a team.
   

Skills:
 

• Excellent skill with PHP 7 as an object-oriented language.
• Understanding of creating AJAX-styled applications with PHP.
• Knowledge of HTML, Jquery, Mysql and javascript.
• Ability to interface with existing APIs.
• Ability to create web services for Android and iOS applications.
• Experience working in Wordpress(customization and plugin creation)
• Experience of working on Prestashop, Magento, Open Cart and Drupal will be an add on advantage..
• Proficiency in writing MySQL queries.
• Ability to create complex database architecture.
• Knowledge with optimizing performance using Apache configuration, Memcached.
• Demonstrable experience in optimizing speed of website by studying page speed etc.
• Understanding the benefits of SEO and the development skills to support SEO.
• Positive , approachable with a fine eye for detail.
   

Education/ Experience:
 

• BE/ B.Tech/ MCA with 3 to 4 years experience in Web / Plugin Development using PHP, WordPress, Drupal, Prestashop.
• Positive, team-oriented and enthusiastic attitude.
• Experience in HTACCESS, Laravel and Linux is a bonus.
   

Qualifications:
 

• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, Jquery, HTML, CSS..
• Developed Rich user experience & visualization tools.
• Knowledge of AngularJS and Node.js is a plus.
• Ability and passion to learn new technologies quickly.
