Job Description
Develop, plan, coordinate and execute E-waste Relief Foundation’s projects.
Help in development and updating of monthly Project Management Framework (PMF) sheets to ensure smooth tracking of the assigned projects
Organize Project Meetings: On a regular basis, you meet with the Project Manager to review progress and to discuss future steps. You also arrange meetings with the members of the project.
Maintain Documents: You are responsible for maintaining crucial project documents which track project progress.
Identify Problems or Risks: Being so closely involved in the project, you relied upon to identify any potential issues or risks that could affect the progression of the project. You communicate these items with the Project Manager, and work to identify potential solutions.
Manage the Schedule: closely watch the project schedule, monitoring deadlines for each project task.
Check regularly that every deadline is still possible, and report any potential delays to the Project Manager.
Engage multiple informal e-waste handlers, vendors and contractors to identify, design, develop and resource customer requirements.
Periodically monitor and update Beneficiary database of the projects and update in the events of re-targeting before finally sharing with Program Manager and compliance as well as other interested parties.
Responsible for the application of grant Acquisition.
Defined project goals, constraints, negotiated costs and changes, and monitored contracts to ensure schedule compliance.
Provide project updates at weekly meetings; formal and informal reports.
Create automated program to monitor and document project progress to ensure organization objectives were being met.
Provide critical information and plans to accomplish relevant and realistic training mandates.
Ensure detailed evaluations of E-waste Relief Foundation’s operational performance and implemented solutions resulting in enhanced performance outcomes.
Provides training in recycling and disposal methods less damaging to the environment and people's health for e-waste collectors and recyclers who are open to change.
Education and raising awareness: Provide a school – specific recycling program for electronics waste. Help raise awareness about eco-responsibility and the benefit of e-waste recycling.
Responsible for helping youths/creating jobs: partnering with youths, training youth technicians in the refurbishment of IT equipment such as computers, printers, etc. refurbished products are donated to local schools or recycled.
Ensure through capacity development, informal sector players are enabled to make e-waste management more sustainable and less damaging to the environment and the population's health.
