Receptionist

Job Description

We urgently request the duty of a Receptionist with or without experience in the hotel sector of the Mandrake Hotel. Possibly graduated, available to relocate, work full time, shifts and holidays for immediate job placement to fill the vacant position of Receptionist here at the Mandrake Hotel.

Duties assigned include:

Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out, and complete audit procedures, as required.

Ensure that both the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments.

Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times.

Attend appropriate training courses, when required, and assist with the Night Team’s training and development efforts.

Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties.

Maximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.

Use the correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policy.

Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, all health and safety legislation in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems.

Assist other departments, as necessary.

Please Note The Following:

Employment Type: Full Time/Part Time.

Monthly Salary: 3,200GBP and above depending on level of experience.

Preferred Language of Resume/Application: English.

Years of Work Experience: One year minimum.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma, Bsc, GED or equivalent business experience or Hospitality.

1-3 months experience in a client serving facing role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

General understanding of PC if required.

You pay strong attention to detail of client and deliver work that is of a high standard.

You are willing to undertake 30-60% travel.
