Job Title: Release Train Engineer (RTE)

Location: Ireland/ Hybrid

Duration of the Assignment: 6 – 12 months

Start Date: May 8th

Job Purpose and primary objectives:

• Serve as a servant leader for the teams and broader organization and act as Lead Scrum Master and coach for a team of Scrum Masters.
• Stand up, launch, and ensure teams stay on course by facilitating its events, ceremonies, and processes while assisting them in delivering value and driving steadfast improvement
• Synthesize, track, and communicate Program Increment (PI) objectives, risks, and dependencies with key partners; supervise the execution of features
• Ensure strategic alignment through collaboration with Solution Train Engineers, Chief Product Owners, Solution Architect Engineers, Tech Leads, and other partners and collaborators on the ART and across the organization.
• Provide an outstanding blend of strategic and tactical leadership

Key responsibilities: Significant experience and/or deep expertise with several of the following:

• Proficiency in multiple Agile methodologies, including Scaled Agile Framework®, with proven expertise in scaling and delivery across teams of various maturity including start-ups.
• Expertise in all aspects of Agile Team Facilitation including Pre PI-Planning, PI Planning, Scrum-of-Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt
• Proven grasp and practical experience in various Agile toolchains, including Jira, Jira Align, and Miro
• Strong leadership skills, both strategic and tactical, with a high degree of emotional intelligence
• Background in Agile delivery with a success record in building new products, capabilities, solutions, and teams

Key Skills/Knowledge:

• Ability to lead independently with minimal guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts, and perspectives to the benefit of the organization
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Certified Release Train Engineer certification
• Experience in serving as a Release Train Engineer within the financial services industry across multiple verticals, be they technical or business in nature
• A high degree of comfort in interacting with Senior Leadership Teams

Experience required: 5+ years’ experience as a ScrumMaster or 2+ years’ experience as a Release Train Engineer,

Special working conditions (Weekend, overtime, travel, on-call ): Potential for US Travel for short period, but unlikely, based on location may have to travel to Co.Donegal
