Job Title: SAP PAPM Consultant

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 6 to 8 Years

Notice Perion: Immediate to 15days

Job Summary: The SAP PAPM Consultant will be responsible for implementing and managing profitability analysis and project management functions within the SAP system. This includes configuring and customizing SAP PAPM modules, analyzing business requirements, designing solution architecture, implementing best practices, providing end-user support, and delivering training to ensure successful utilization of SAP PAPM functionalities. The SAP PAPM Consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and IT teams to deliver high-quality solutions and drive business process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and customize SAP PAPM modules to meet business requirements, including but not limited to Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Project Systems (PS), and Investment Management (IM).
• Analyze business processes and requirements, and design solution architecture to optimize profitability analysis and project management functions within SAP.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and document business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents.
• Conduct system testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure the quality and stability of SAP PAPM functionalities.
• Provide end-user support, resolve issues, and troubleshoot problems related to SAP PAPM modules.
• Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to ensure effective utilization of SAP PAPM functionalities.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP PAPM features and functionalities, and provide recommendations for process improvements and system optimizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices for profitability analysis and project management processes.
• Assist in the development of project plans, project estimates, and project documentation.
• Monitor and manage system performance, data integrity, and security of SAP PAPM modules.
• Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and other SAP projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of profitability analysis and project management processes, best practices, and industry standards.
• Hands-on experience in configuring and customizing SAP PAPM modules, including setting up cost centers, profit centers, value fields, and characteristics.
• Proficient in SAP PAPM reporting and analysis tools, such as Report Painter, Report Writer, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Knowledge of integration points between SAP PAPM and other SAP modules, such as Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Material Management (MM), and Sales and Distribution (SD).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• PaPM with BW/BPC work experience is also desirable
