Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ERP (Finance, HR and Payroll, Asset &Work Management) as relevant to role • Held a number of hands-on functional roles on large SAP ERP (Finance, HR and Payroll, Asset & Work Management) Projects or Support Teams • Candidates must have hands on functional experience in SAP ERP (Finance, HR and Payroll, Asset & Work Management) as specified in the individual job specifications below (i.e. including business process definition, configuration, functional/integration/performance testing etc.) • Possess strong communication skills for interaction with different stakeholders involved in this Project (i.e. in the business process definition stages, design, testing etc. with technical and non-technical people). Excellent communication/interpersonal skills are mandatory • Fluency in the English language is a must • Must be available to work on-site or off/near-site as and when required by ESB. ESB expect a difference reflected in the price for either scenario • Knowledge of standard testing practices for SAP Projects is a must. Past experience with the application Quality Centre is an advantage (i.e. for the creation & execution of Test Scripts and the resolution of Defects).
Key Functional Role Responsibilities – Projects specific: • Perform a key role as part of a team responsible for the delivery of enhancements to the SAP ERP (Finance, HR and Payroll, Asset & Work Management) components within defined Projects for ESB. • Must display ability to create/maintain project documentation to allow smooth transition of Project into Support organisation • Must display ability to maintain a common set of scoping, design, implementation and test artefacts and templates in line with agreed Project definitions
Key Functional Role Responsibilities – Support Specific: • Support of core business processes • Perform Incident and problem resolution, maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction possible • Demonstrate strong task management and problem solving skills • Preventative maintenance tasks to ensure IT systems are operational and secure, and to prevent future incidents • Troubleshooting incident and problem resolution, maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction possible • Batch monitoring and recovery of failures with a view to improving the system / batch performance • Monitor and drive improvements to the system/ batch performance • Delivery of ad hoc unplanned changes • Documenting procedures and processes for Enterprise systems and interfacing systems • Managing Project and change request (CR) scoping, estimation and design (i.e. preparing functional specification) through to implementation (completing system configuration, liaising closely with ABAP team during build phase) and preparing and managing all elements of testing (unit, system and integration) • Identifying potential process improvements opportunities across the landscape • Working alongside Team Leads, Delivery Leads, Functional SME’s and Solution Architects to Identify and manage risks • Customer communications
