About the Role

As a Software Developer at Honeywell, you will play a key role in developing software solutions for our diverse range of products. This includes working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contributing to the entire software development lifecycle, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient code.

Desired Experience:

- Solid experience in developing web applications.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C++, Java, Python.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries; ReactJS knowledge is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of build tools like Webpack, Parcel, Gulp, etc.
- Experience with web infrastructure and building scalable web applications using frameworks such as Ruby on Rails is advantageous.
- Good understanding of code versioning tools like Git.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a strong willingness to learn.
- Excellent problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

- Take ownership and accountability for all assigned work, ensuring results meet high-quality standards.
- Develop reusable, high-quality code and libraries that are unit-tested, code-reviewed, and applicable across multiple projects.
- Participate in a culture of code reviews, tech specs writing, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Work closely with designers, product managers, and analytics to achieve common goals.
- Stay updated on new technologies and adapt them to meet Honeywell's requirements.
- Utilize third-party libraries and troubleshoot UI-related issues using browser tools.
- Rapidly iterate on product/platform features.
