Sales Executive

Job Description

Job Specification:

· Any graduate / postgraduate with 0-3 years freight sales experience

· The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills in English & Tamil.

· Should have excellent customer service and analytical skills.

· The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, and Power Point) & Internet

Work Location: Chennai ( Parrys Corner )

Responsibilities :

· Determine new potential clients, negotiate rates, and close the deal.

· Manage all incoming sales calls, respond to emails, manage accounts and Customer Service.

· Face to face calls with the prospect clients and existing clients to generate business

· Send calls report to the reporting officer on a daily and weekly basis

· Attain the monthly / weekly sales targets set by the management.

· Coordinate with the operations and other departments to ensure smooth business flow.

· Collect prompt payments from the clients as per the company policies and practices.

· Provide significant ideas to help develop business strategies for existing / New category of clients.

· Observe the actions of competitors and provide input to management to build marketing strategies.

· Actively participate in Designing, Planning, and organizing various Sales promotional activities
