Senior Accountant

Job Description

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with auditors for annual audits and implement recommendations for process improvements.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting regulations to ensure compliance.
• Analyze financial data and trends to identify potential risks or opportunities.
