Job Title: Senior Front-End Developer
Location: Dublin, Ireland

Key Skills: Razor Pages, JavaScript and Accessibility

Key Challenge: Although this is a Front-End Developer role, it requires strong Razor skills typically associated with full-stack development. The successful candidate must be able to create reusable Razor components and controllers.

For the delivery of this Project, we require  senior full stack developer with very good front end experience in ASP.NET MVC Core from Front End to Back End. Strong understanding of accessibility is needed too. The candidate will not be expected to develop on the back end; they just need an understanding of the back end.

Responsible for the front-end build quality of responsive web sites using ASP.NET MVC Core Razor Pages, HTML, CSS, Sitefinity and JavaScript aligning with software development standards.
Be able to create reusable Razor components or controllers.
Plan, design and implement the splitting of a large monolithic application including all elements of the application from Front end design to Back-end services.
Create components to be shared between multiple ASP.NET Applications.
Work closely with the Design Team to design and implement the Front-End elements.
Create front end components with according to all required Accessibility specifications.
Build and maintain applications both on premises and on the cloud (Azure)
Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to ensure the seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionalities.
Ensure security by design principles, GDPR and accessibility standards requirements in front end code delivery
Optimize web applications for performance and responsiveness.
Conduct code reviews and ensuring front-end code quality and adherence to best practices  
Stay up to date with emerging front-end technologies, trends, and best practices
Mentor and guide junior front-end developers
Write new functional requirement documents and specifications  
Write and maintain technical documentation for front-end code and processes.
Participate in UI/UX design discussions and provide input on user experience.
Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface
Work in an agile DevSec Ops environment  
IT Qualification - Degree or equivalent work experience.
Build unit tests and ensure code quality
Utilise modern frameworks and libraries to transform the customer experience
Utilise automation, CI/CD and agile delivery methodology
Provide website maintenance and enhancements
Write functional requirement documents and specifications
Create quality prototypes to tight timelines
Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface
Promote re-usability best practices

Skills and Requirements

Have a deep understanding of front-end technologies including ASP.NET MVC Razor Pages as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Have a deep understanding of the full ASP.NET MVC application stack elements from Front end to Back end.
Ability to lead small teams in discrete projects.
Have experience in collaborating with designers and back-end developers and be able to optimize web applications for performance and responsiveness.
Significant experience in Software Development and Agile Methodologies
Significant Experience in CI/CD and DevSecOps platforms
Experience in Cloud Technologies and Platforms e.g., Azure
Experience in designing Accessibility Standards and requirements.
Experience in secure software design and software security best practice and guidelines.
Experience in incident, change management and transition processes.
Reporting, documentation/writing.
Excellent Organisational skills.
Experience with a wide range of IT environments, platforms, and applications.
