Senior Interior Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for leading design projects from concept development through to execution, ensuring the highest level of creativity, functionality, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering outstanding interior design solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process from initial concept development through to project completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and goals, and translate them into innovative and practical design concepts.
• Develop detailed design proposals, including space planning, material selection, color schemes, lighting, and furniture layouts, while considering both aesthetic and functional aspects.
• Create comprehensive design presentations and mood boards to communicate design concepts effectively to clients and project stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor junior design team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery of design solutions.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress, resolve any design-related issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in interior design, and incorporate innovative ideas into project designs.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design workshops, presenting design concepts and recommendations confidently and persuasively.
• Foster strong client relationships and actively seek opportunities to expand business relationships and generate new business leads.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in interior design, with a focus on commercial, residential, or hospitality projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools.
• Strong conceptual and design skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly and persuasively.
• Proven leadership abilities, with experience in leading design teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
