Job Description
Job Purpose and primary objectives:
This is a Senior Engineer role which will be involved in mission-based team for Product recommendations.
Key responsibilities:
Build aiohttp microservices using Python 3.0 as a team.
Key Skills/Knowledge:
- Expert level Python skills, in-depth knowledge of python.
- Experienced developing REST, GraphQL or gRPC based microservices.
- Exposure to frameworks like aiohttp, Tornado, or Twisted.
- Experienced with asyncio.
Experience required:
- Able to demonstrate relevant experience in software engineering, which provided exposure to a wide array of system types.
- Holds a degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience working with CI tools (Concourse, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines).
- Experience working within an Agile environment such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong understanding of containerisation (preferably Kubernetes).
