Job Description

ServiceNow Developer (ITSM/ ITBM/ ITOM):

Job Description: The developer should have hands-on experience on both development and support of ServiceNow applications and would be working in close cooperation of the application owner and architect. In addition, the consultant should be experienced in end-to-end incident / problem management.

Qualifications:

• Service now implementation experience in ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Service catalogs.)
• Strong experience in Integrations with 3rd party tools using (web services, SOAP, email, MID, etc…).
• Hands-on experience with good scripting.
• Hands-on experience working with relational databases.
• Experience developing ServiceNow APIs, ServiceNow Workflows, UI Pages, UI Macros, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, Security Rules
• ServiceNow administration experience.
• ServiceNow Certified Administrator is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Build service requests from customer requirements including requests, request items and tasks using workflows - to manage data flows from the customer to the support teams providing the service.
• Uses scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality to create scripts to automate rote tasks being done in Service Now.
• Performs integrations and process automation using ServiceNow Orchestration.
• Load, manipulate and maintain data between Service-now and other systems.
• Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes
• Performs system and integration testing with sample and live data Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the application.
• Hands-on design, development and deployment experience with the ServiceNow platform

ITBM JD: 

Responsibilities:

• ITBM Senior Developer is responsible for implementing and/or maintaining ServiceNow ITBM applications and accompanying integrations. He should have a deep understanding of the various Applications within ITBM primarily PPM (Project, Demand, Idea)
• Role/Responsibilities:
• Must Have Good Technical skills in ServiceNow ITBM (Mainly PPM as Must and Rest as Desirable) implementation experience with knowledge on working on Customizations for Idea/Demand/Project/Agile & Test Mgmt, Working on Custom Applications related to ITBM (Desirable)
• Knowledge of End-2-End PPM Lifecycle
• Understanding of the Coding Best Practices and testing processes based on both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Hands-on experience in integrating ServiceNow ITBM with other applications 
• Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge
• Service Now System Administrator Certification (Preferred)
• Service Now Implementation Specialist Certification  - PPM, APM (Preferred)
• Led a Team of Developers working on ITBM (Mainly PPM as Must and Rest as Desirable) Applications
• Strong collaboration with stakeholders including internal customers, stakeholders and vendors to understand challenges and gain consensus on improved system and operational solutions

ITOM JD:

Responsibilities:

• Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow orchestration and automation activities including end-user productivity, infrastructure automation, and business automation. 
• Experience in implementing orchestration activities like user- provisioning, Client Software Distribution, Password Reset, VMware provisioning, Amazon EC2, AD, Exchange, SCCM, etc. 
• Hands on experience in developing custom orchestration activities, automate technology stacks, integrate service-centric processes and datacentre automation using ServiceNow platform.
• Exposure to process automation, workflow connectors etc.
• Hands-on experience using ServiceNow integration hub, flow designer and spokes.
• Expertise with scripting languages such as PERL, JavaScript, Python, or Power Shell
• Integration experience with Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge
• Understanding of MID Server & troubleshooting experience
• Strong collaboration with stakeholders including internal customers, stakeholders, and vendors to understand challenges and gain consensus on improved system and operational solutions
• Must have proficiency of ServiceNow administration, ServiceNow scripting, JavaScript, and common scripting languages such as PowerShell

o Service Now System Administrator Certification (Preferred)

o Service Now Implementation Specialist Certification (Preferred)
