Job Description

Our Client needs a Senior SharePoint Online (O365) Developer who will work with multiple teammates network engineers and Content Management Team staff. The position is focused on planning, developing, documenting & exchanging knowledge with onsite team using industry best practices.

Typical work consists of developing custom web parts, workflows, forms & solutions in all phases of the SDLC process (planning, developing, testing & support). As well as code/configuration reviews.
This position requires excellent communications and leadership skills, team player including effective oral and written communication.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 6+ years of working in a development role supporting SharePoint Online (O365) and 2016 /2013/2010
• 4+ years server-side development using ASP.Net & C# / client side using HTML/CSS/JavaScript & strong knowledge of general web development.
• Taxonomy classification system – words, labels and terms arrange groups into hierarchy.
• Folksonomy, Term set, Terms, Groups, Term store management tool, managed metadata column, enterprise keywords column, tagging to documents repos.
• Solid skills in XML/XSD/XSLT/CAML/LINQ
• Good experience in working with SQL/MS BI Stack & other DBMS
• A deep understanding of SharePoint farm architecture, services & features, site design & best practices. Including performance tuning and updating/upgrading on premise environment.
• Deep knowledge & understanding of the roles of SharePoint and the relationships to one another & business processes. This includes, but is not limited to: Security/Roles, Search, ECM/Metadata, Document Management, BI/PerformancePoint, Workflows/Forms, Portals and custom web parts & features
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows platform & network infrastructure / Cloud computing & Active Directory.
• Ability to develop and document farm-level, site-collection-level, and site-level architecture for SharePoint environment,; lead technical design reviews for architectural enhancements
• Solid experience using SharePoint integration with 3rd party applications & databases
• Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, PowerShell, PowerApps, PowerBI
• Ability to write in code using language such as C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, MVC.NET or ASP.NET Web Forms, WCF Services, SharePoint REST and the SharePoint Client Object Model.
• Understanding of Site Collections, Metadata, Access control groups, Inheritance, Creating custom views, Master Pages, Web apps and web parts
• Proficiency using Excel to report on data in meaningful displays incorporating pivot tables, graphs, and charts in a way that facilitates business and operational insights
• Develop, implement and configure web parts, lists, libraries, views, forms, calendars and other SharePoint solutions
• Build Infopath forms and workflows
• Implement migration plans for migrating content
• Communicate complex technical issues to non-technical clients/business users
• Train end-users via in-person presentations, web meetings and documentation
• Maintain documentation and build reports to track work
• Manage site contents and permissions
• Monitor metrics on site utilization
• Test and QC new SharePoint applications
• Respond to and troubleshoot SharePoint issues
