Site Support Engineer will be onsite resources available to help end users with OS Deployment, resolve OSD support issues and can also be dispatched via Tier 1 helpdesk for desk side support. · Receive devices from end users. Prepare devices for upgrade by connecting them to network, power source and monitors. Ensure devices are reachable over the network · Point of contact for project team and Offshore factory during deployment window. · Coordinate with customer point of contact during deployment window for deployment related tasks · Perform user data backup by following the defined process. Make sure the data back-up job is success and troubleshoot in case of failure · Prepare devices for upgrade, make sure device status is healthy with respect to all defined parameters like SCCM client present and healthy, any defined antivirus agent is present and healthy and other defined configuration and products. · Remediate applications installation failure issues. · Build new system with defined Bare Metal imaging process. Perform Wipe and Load deployment in case of IPU failure. · Make sure that user data is restored successfully on upgraded/replaced devices. · Conduct necessary User Acceptance Testing once the build completed successfully and the data is restored. · Adhere to defined processes. Maintain daily/weekly schedule and device inventory · Prepare deployment reports and share it with defined stack holders · Participate in daily stand up calls. Share daily deployment status. Provide insights to ongoing issues, deployment trends etc. · Attend defined weekly status update and technical discussion and readiness related meetings · Maintain document of technical issues encountered and resolutions documented on regular basis · Escalate any issues in a timely manner to the deployment shift Lead / project Lead. Requirements · Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Enterprise OS Deployment Projects. · Should have hands on working experience with SCCM Operating System Deployments (OSD). · Working experience with Zero touch installations (ZTI), Light touch installation (LTI), Windows 10 In-Place upgrade, Refresh (Wipe and load) and Bare Metal Deployments. · Perform SCCM application deployment and monitor · Should have SCCM client and OS troubleshooting skills · Ability to analyse logs and determine the issue and resolve it · Customer focused. Ability to listen and understand customer requirements. · Good communication skills. Ability to manage project priorities. · Team player. Liaise with support teams / Project Teams, where required. · Ability to adopt quickly to dynamic customer environments. · Manage work pressure, ability to handle critical and complex work situations · Ready to work in shifts (day or night), Flexible to stretched deployment window only when needed.
