Role – Technology Lead

Technology – Oracle PLSQL, Python

Location – Ireland

Business Unit – Supply Chain 

Your role

In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.  You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued. 

Required

• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries.
• Good understanding of PLSQL concepts like Procedure, Packages, Function, Triggers, Error Handling
• Experience handling bulk data processing, SQL query tuning
• Good knowledge on Python scripting/Web frameworks
• Must have working experience in Linux and Unix OS
• Experience with batch jobs and jobs scheduling with various tools/utilities
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and understanding of business requirements and system architecture
• Ability to face business meetings/calls
• Ready to work in on-call and weekend shift

Preferred

• Good knowledge on any scripting language is a plus
