Job Title: Tele-Fundraiser for NGO

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate Tele-Fundraiser to work for NGO clients and help us raise funds through phone calls. In this role, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential donors and supporters, sharing information about our organization and its initiatives, and encouraging them to donate to our cause. You will also maintain accurate records of all calls, donations, and follow-up actions.

Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to potential donors and supporters, using provided scripts and information.
• Engage in conversations with potential donors and supporters, building rapport, and establishing a connection with them.
• Share information about the organization's mission, programs, and initiatives, highlighting the impact of our work on communities and individuals.
• Encourage potential donors to make a donation, explaining the different ways to give and the benefits of giving.
• Provide excellent customer service to donors, answering any questions they may have about the organization, and thanking them for their support.
• Maintain accurate records of all calls, donations, and follow-up actions in the organization's database.
• Collaborate with other members of the fundraising team to develop strategies and tactics for increasing donations and supporter engagement.
• Meet or exceed fundraising targets and other key performance indicators.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in tele-fundraising or telemarketing, preferably in a non-profit or charity environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage in conversations, build rapport, and persuade people to take action.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide a positive and engaging experience to donors.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
• Comfortable working with computer systems, including databases and CRM tools.
• Passion for the organization's mission and commitment to making a positive impact in the world.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.

Working Conditions:

• This is a full-time position, with standard business hours from Monday to Saturday.
• Work is primarily conducted over the phone and computer, with occasional in-person meetings and events.
• The position may require working some evenings or weekends during peak fundraising periods.
• The position may require sitting or standing for extended periods of time while making phone calls.
• The organization will provide all necessary equipment, including a computer and headset.
