Test Engineer

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
 

* Work closely with Business and Development team, understand the requirements and design test artefacts like Traceability Matrix, Test Cases & Test Scenarios with maximum requirement coverage.

* Review requirements, product design, change requests and defect descriptions to identify interdependencies, ambiguities to improve requirements and ensure usability and quality of the product.

* Execute Functional and Regression test cases on multiple browsers / devices and raise defects

* Follow up with the Development team for the closure of bugs

* Quick Learner, Action Oriented and highly motivated to keep himself/herself abreast with latest technologies all the time.

Desired Candidate Profile

A Bachelor's / Masters degree

* 1-3 years of experience in Software Testing (Web & Mobile Applications)
* Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
* Should have hands on experience with Core Java concepts
* Experience in Web service / API Testing preferred
* Experience with Bug tracking and Management tool such as JIRA, Zephyr will be added advantage
* Good to have Experience with Tools like Selenium, Postman etc
* Ability to understand customer use cases and prioritize test cases accordingly.
* Knowledge and experience of the Software Development life cycles like Agile, Scrum and Waterfall Model, is an added advantage.
* Experience with White box testing will surely be a plus
