Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and driven Web Designer to help with aesthetic design of a web site. The selected candidate will work closely with back-end web developer and marketing professionals to make certain the website is designed with ClearOne’s brand identity. The selected candidate will have responsibility for gathering requirements, designing the software workflow, developing storyboards, and generating wireframe prototypes for user interfaces for a web site. The selected candidate will also be responsible for creating graphic elements and building navigation components for ClearOne’s website. 

Other continuing creative work will be assigned and implemented. 

Ideal candidate is a highly creative, impactful stylist capable of powerful, yet intimate and simple artistry for high tech products and solutions who can bring dynamic presentation to our high-tech partners and consumers.  Forward thinking creativity with strong execution skills is a must.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• BSCS/BSCE or equivalent with 5+ years of experience designing websites. 
• Experience coding the site’s navigation.
• Experience creating mock-ups of the site for the review and approval. 
• Knowledge of SEO (Search engine Optimization)
• Development experience working with Drupal architecture.
• Experience with gathering and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers. 
• Experience Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps. 
• Experience designing graphical user interface elements like menus, tabs and widgets. 
• Demonstrated ability to identify and troubleshoot UI problems like responsiveness. 
• Experience conducting layout adjustments based on user feedback. 
• Demonstrated ability to create and adhere to style standards for fonts, colors and images.
•  Proficient in graphics design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools. 
• Strong English Language verbal and written communication skills are required
