As an Electronics Technician at our Internal Combustion Engines Manufacturing company, you will be a vital member of a dynamic and flexible team responsible for assembling, testing, and calibrating electronic components and systems used in our cutting-edge engines. Your expertise will be focused on harnesses and PCBs, where you will diligently follow production files to solder and crimp components such as ECU, ignition boxes, actuators, power regulators, throttle bodies, and more. With a wide range of products and tasks, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our engines through precise electronics assembly and calibration processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Electronics Assembly: Accurately interpret and follow production files and schematics to assemble electronic components and PCBs used in internal combustion engines. Utilize soldering and crimping techniques to ensure high-quality connections.
2. Harness Assembly: Construct and integrate wiring harnesses, ensuring proper cable management and adherence to engineering specifications.
3. Testing and Calibration: Conduct functional tests and calibrate electronic components, including ECU, ignition boxes, actuators, power regulators, and throttle bodies, to verify their performance and compliance with required standards.
4. Software Installation: Handle the installation of firmware and software on electronic components, ensuring proper functionality and compatibility.
5. Gluing and Potting: Apply adhesives and potting compounds to secure and protect electronic components from environmental factors such as moisture, vibrations, and temperature variations.
6. Firmware Parameters Burning: Program firmware parameters onto microcontrollers and memory devices to configure electronic systems for specific engine models and applications.
7. Quality Control: Perform rigorous quality checks on assembled electronic components and harnesses to identify and rectify defects, ensuring products meet the company's high-quality standards.
8. Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing and resolving electronics-related issues during assembly or testing processes to maintain smooth production flow.
9. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all electronic assembly processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
10. Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to implement design changes, improve assembly processes, and contribute to the development of new electronic products.
11. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly procedures, test results, and calibration data to support traceability and future reference.
12. Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to optimize electronics assembly techniques, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall quality of electronic components.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electronics assembly, soldering, and crimping techniques.
- Advantage: Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with electronic testing equipment and calibration tools.
- Advantage: Familiarity with PCBs, microcontrollers, and electronic components commonly used in engine control systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment.
