Job Description

The Lead Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the PP/PDH plants using

Spheripol and Spherizone Technology by LYB. The Lead Operator will be responsible for monitoring plant

operations, making process adjustments, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance

with safety regulations. The Lead Operator will also be responsible for training and mentoring other

operators in the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor plant operations to ensure efficiency and safety standards are met.

• Make process adjustments as needed to maintain optimal production levels.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

• Train and mentor other operators in the plant on proper operating procedures.

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, chemicals, and other supplies used in production processes.

• Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.

• Prepare reports on production levels, quality control results, and any other relevant information as

needed.
